Cement Garden brings together a broad set of works concerning traces - moments, memories, past actions. Created and cultivated on the intersections of representation and the poetic and seemingly fluxing between worlds.

Asylum Studios and its location is the starting point for creating something poignant: Inspired by the strange post-(military)industrial setting and the surrounding pastoral beauty, works are brought together to create a Mise-en-scene. The seemingly abandoned spaces sprout life - the workings of an other world bursting through the breeze block walls and tangling with the objects left.
